This policy explains returns, refunds, and how we handle damaged/incorrect items for purchases made on buffalofurniturecompany.com.

Return Window

You may return eligible items within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for return, items must:

  • Be in original, unused condition
  • Include all original packaging, parts, and accessories
  • Not be damaged due to customer use or assembly
  • Not be marked as Final Sale or custom-made
  • Be returned with proof of purchase (order number)

Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned:

  • Items marked as "Final Sale" at time of purchase
  • Custom or personalized furniture
  • Items damaged after delivery due to customer use
  • Items without original packaging or missing components
  • Items returned after the 30-day window

How to Initiate a Return

  2. Provide your order number and reason for return
  3. Wait for return authorization (RMA number) and instructions
  4. Pack the item securely in original packaging
  5. Ship the item back following our instructions within 7 days of receiving authorization

Do not ship items back without authorization. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted or refunded.

Return Shipping Costs

  • Standard returns (change of mind, no longer needed, ordered wrong item): Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
  • Defective, damaged, or incorrect items shipped by us: We will provide a prepaid return label or arrange pickup at our expense

Original Shipping Fees

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped, defective product, or damaged in transit). If you received free shipping on your original order, a shipping fee may be deducted from your refund for standard returns.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item:

  • Report within 48 hours of delivery with photos showing the damage or defect
  • We will provide a replacement or full refund including original shipping
  • Return shipping will be covered by us via prepaid label
  • You may be asked to provide additional photos or information to process the claim

Partial Refunds

In some cases, we may offer a partial refund if:

  • Item has minor cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality
  • You agree to keep the item with a discount
  • Item is returned without all original packaging or accessories
  • Item shows signs of use beyond inspection

Partial refunds are offered at our discretion and must be agreed upon before processing.

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your returned item:

  • Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • You will receive an email confirmation when your refund is processed
  • Please allow 5–10 additional business days for your financial institution to post the credit

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges at this time. To exchange an item:

  1. Return the original item for a refund following our return process
  2. Place a new order for the desired item
  3. This ensures you receive the replacement as quickly as possible

Restocking Fees

We do not charge restocking fees for standard returns that meet our return eligibility requirements.

Return Inspection

All returned items are inspected upon receipt. Returns that do not meet our eligibility requirements (used, damaged, missing parts, etc.) may be:

  • Refused for refund
  • Returned to you at your expense
  • Subject to partial refund based on condition

Limited Warranty

We offer complimentary Limited Warranties on our furniture, which are applicable to the original buyer at the original delivery address. Our Limited Warranty includes coverage against manufacturing defects for 1 year from the date of delivery. Our Limited Warranty additionally includes coverage against structural frame defects for 3 years from the date of delivery. Buffalo Furniture’s Limited Warranties do not apply to any conditions resulting from faulty installation, misuse or expected wear. A manufacturing defect is defined, for the purpose of these Limited Warranties, as causing the product to be structurally unsound, faulty, or significantly altering the appearance of the product.
